Serving the people of Arlington County and the City of Falls Church since 1995.

How your donated funds are used

While the professionally trained Emergency Medical Technicians of the Arlington Falls-Church Volunteer Rescue Squad volunteer their time for no compensation, the generous support of the citizens and business of our community is needed in order for us to continue providing our services. The Squad receives some assistance from the County government with fuel costs and maintenance of our vehicles, but the vast majority of our funding comes from your support.

Please consider supporting us with a donation. Here’s how your donation can help:

  • $25 provides one set of disposable c-collars, a critical component in preventing further injury or paralysis for patients with neck and back trauma
  •

  • $50 purchases one set of defibrillation pads, which can restart a patient’s heart during cardiac arrest
  •

  • $100 buys a new Blood Glucose Monitor, a life-saving diagnostic tool used to determine blood sugar levels in potentially diabetic patients
  •

  • $500 will provide our volunteer staff with uniforms and personal protective equipment for the year
  •

  • $1,000 buys a new EMS Bike Unit fully equipped with EMS supplies to allow one EMT the ability quickly maneuver through crowds to provide immediate care to patients during large special events
  •

  • $200,000 covers the cost of a new ambulance, street-ready to provide the highest quality care to the citizens and visitors of Arlington County and the City of Falls Church
